I have for the Lipolaser treatment chosen because I wanted the piece of excess fat under my chin to be tightened up and make more of a jawline visible. I was quite bothered by my double chin so this treatment suited my needs well. If something bothers you or makes you feel insecure, you can have it improved, even if it has no medical reason. There are so many clinics in the Netherlands these days that it is sometimes difficult to end up with the right one. I find it important that a clinic is well regarded, the doctors are certified, communication is transparent and there is a nice atmosphere. In the end, I had ended up at Skin+Surgery Clinics. I trust her 100% and she understands what result I want to achieve, which is the most important thing for me as a client. A doctor should understand you and sense what your wishes are.

'I was confident it would go'

On the day of the operation, I was quite tense. When I entered the clinic, a pleasant conversation started right away, which eased my nerves. This felt nice and familiar, as if they already knew me. I was soon picked up by the assistant to go to the OR. Once upstairs, the operating assistant took me through the process step by step. I was also then no longer nervous at all because I knew I was in good hands, I clearly knew what to expect and the result that could be achieved. I think that if you start worrying a lot, it can only backfire, I was confident that it would go well.

'Above all, do what makes you happy'

If you are uncertain about something or want to improve something about yourself that will make you feel better, I would definitely do it. It is normal to have to think about it, but do what makes you happy. In my opinion, this is the most important thing; women are more likely to be approved while men sometimes also want to improve themselves. I therefore definitely recommend Skin+Surgery Clinics, the service so far has been very nice and I have been clearly informed.
