The Dr. Tha-In Signature Lift therefore combines all its experience and expertise in one procedure. This can address multiple problem areas and achieve optimal, long-lasting results. Dr. Tha-In Signature Lift includes a full deep plane facelift, liposuction with neck lift and buccal fat removal. The Signature lift comes with the full aftercare package with medication, support bands and connective tissue massages 3 months after the procedure.
This lift tackles multiple problem areas such as sagging midface, jawline and neck, as well as hamster cheeks. By tackling these areas at the same time, the Signature lift gives a beautiful, youthful and natural result. This Signature Lift takes place under intoxication and with local anesthetic. This means that you will sleep during the procedure and you will not feel any pain. You are therefore very sleepy and relaxed and will not experience much of the procedure.
The surgeon makes short incisions in the hairline next to the temple, in front of the ear up to the earlobe. This minimizes the risk of visible scars, as they fall into the natural folds of the ear. The subcutaneous tissue is lifted and secured with sutures. These will dissolve on their own while the tissue heals in the new position.
The buccal fat is also removed during the procedure. This gives your face more contour and a V shape. This can often be done from the outside, if the skin is loosened. It is possible that the buccal fat is located deeper. In that case, the surgeon will remove the fat from the inside of your mouth through a small incision.
To bring back the natural contours of your face and give more definition to your jawline, the surgeon will also remove fat from the double chin. This is done with the help of liposuction. A small tube is inserted under your chin, which then sucks up the fat.
The entire procedure takes about 3 to 4 hours. You can go home after a short sleep-in period. Because you can be sleepy, you are not allowed to independently participate in traffic. So you have to be picked up.
You will return for connective tissue massages from 3 months after the procedure. This relaxes the skin, underlying tissue and scars. The massages promote recovery and maintain the result for longer.

Our surgeon Dr. Thanya Tha-In assesses whether a facelift is a suitable treatment for you and which type of facelift gives the best result. You will receive all information about the facelift treatment and you will receive an explanation of the entire treatment process, from precaution to aftercare. You will be told what end result you can expect from the treatment. Photos are taken beforehand, which are placed next to the photos after the surgery. You can see the natural result of the facelift beautifully.

The Signature Lift is an outpatient treatment that does not require hospitalization. You can go home after the procedure and after a short rest. You are just not allowed to drive yourself yet. In that case, take someone with you to our clinic or have someone pick you up by car after the treatment. Various facelift treatments are performed under anesthesia in our clinic. With the Signature Lift, not only the skin is lifted, the underlying connective and muscle tissue is also stretched and the prolapsed fat tissue is returned to its original location. The buccal fat is removed and liposuction is applied to the neck to remove the double chin.
The Signature Lift lasts 3 to 4 hours, lifting both the skin of the cheek and the underlying supporting tissue. Your jawline tightens and your nasal lip fold more prominent. Removing the buccal fat gives you a more defined V-shape and liposuction also targets your double chin. The first result is visible after 1 to 2 weeks. The definitive, natural result shows itself after a few months to a year. The result lasts a long time. The skin aging will continue. A facelift can be repeated after 10 to 15 years.
We are happy to guide you through the entire treatment and healing process. We work with a specially developed pre- and aftercare protocol, so that you are optimally prepared and enjoy your recovery. The few days after the Signature Lift your face is a bit swollen and feels tight. For light after pain, taking a paracetamol is sufficient. The swelling and bruising will go away on its own within a few weeks. Take sufficient rest in the first week and sleep in the supine position on an extra pillow. This helps against swelling, reduces the risk of bleeding afterwards and promotes the healing process. For the first three weeks, avoid pressing, straining, bending, or lifting. Do not engage in vigorous physical activity in the first six weeks.
You achieve the best result and the fastest healing with a healthy lifestyle. In any case, stop smoking until the stitches are out, do not drink hot drinks to prevent facial congestion and do not chew solid food intensively. Otherwise this will put pressure on the sutures in the face. After the Signature Lift, keep moving normally to keep blood circulation going and the wound to heal quickly. You will be presentable again after one to two weeks and able to resume your daily social activities. For the first three months, do not expose your facial skin to strong sunlight and do not use the tanning bed or the sauna. We recommend a number of connective tissue massages from 3 months after the treatment. This makes the skin, underlying tissues and scars supple and soft, and promotes recovery.
The Signature Lift is a common surgical procedure at Skin + Surgery Clinics, with a very low risk of complications. In some cases an allergic reaction, bleeding or infection may occur. The Signature Lift is by definition a surgical procedure. That means you will be operated on. It is a treatment that is performed when the skin on your face starts to sag with age. During the procedure, the skin is tightened and lifted. It also removes the buccal fat for a more defined V shape. The double chin is removed with the help of liposuction. This gives you a tight jawline, neck, smooth skin and your youthful contours.
If the Signature Lift cannot produce the desired result, the surgeon will recommend a different lift. At Skin + Surgery we specialize in different types of lifts and techniques.
The S-Lift </ a> : only the skin of the cheek is lifted, which is why the procedure is also called a ‘minilift’ or ‘mini facelift’. This technique is suitable up to a certain age and when the sagging is limited to the top layer of the skin. If there is also a weakening of the underlying tissue layers, the MACS-Lift or a facelift will be a better choice.
The MACS lift </ a> : not only the skin of the cheek is lifted, as with the S-Lift or mini lift, but the underlying supporting tissue is also included. This technique is suitable when there is more sagging, when there is a larger area to be lifted and is often applicable from a certain age. The neck is not included in a MACS lift.
Face and neck lift </ a> : With a face / neck lift, an extended incision behind the ear not only lifts the skin of the cheek and the underlying supporting tissue, but also lifts the neck.
Necklift with platysmaplasty </ b >: this lift is recommended if especially the neck (and underlying muscles) are relaxed. The skin of the face is not lifted with this treatment.
Face slimming </ b>: this unique treatment tackles chubby hamster cheeks and a stubborn double chin. In this case, there is no question of enormous slackening, but there is unwanted volume, which gives you, for example, a baby face .

The surgeon will always assess whether this lift can give you the desired result, or if another lift is a more suitable alternative.

As with all cosmetic procedures, the final results depend much more on the skill of the surgeon than the actual technique used.
You will get small scars, but our surgeon will hide them as best he can.
There is a risk of complication with any surgical treatment. That is why it is important that you are aware of the procedure and the possible complications. There is a risk of an allergic reaction, bleeding, infection or nerve damage. The chance of this is very small. Our instruments are of the best quality. We work with very fine needles and fine diathermy, in order to minimize trauma to the tissue.
Specific complications with a facelift are nerve damage, asymmetry, hair loss, hypertrophic scarring and numbness of part of your face. The complications are not permanent and often recover in the course of 3-4 months after the procedure.
- Take enough rest in the week after your treatment. Make sure someone can help you.
- Sleep in the supine position on 2 pillows. This reduces the risk of bleeding and swelling. It promotes healing.
- In the first two weeks after treatment, you should not push, push, lift or bend over.
- We recommend that you do not smoke until the stitches are removed. Smoking increases the risk of complications.
- Avoid heavy chewing solid foods. This puts pressure on the sutures in the face.
- Do not drink hot drinks, such as tea or coffee, to avoid facial congestion.
- Swelling and bruising get worse for the first three days and then slowly subside.
- It is wise to keep moving normally. This is good for circulation and wound healing.
- Do not engage in heavy and strenuous work or sports activities for the first six weeks.
- Schedule your social contacts. Stay at home for a week. The treated area will look blue, swollen, and bruised for the first week. The scars can also be red and swollen immediately after the treatment. This is sometimes a bit of a shock.
- One to two weeks after a facelift you are usually presentable again and you can resume your social activities.
- We recommend that you do not expose the scars to UV sunlight and / or the tanning bed for 3 months after surgery.
- After 3 months it is advisable to start with connective tissue massages. This relaxes the skin, underlying tissue and scars. The massages promote recovery and ensure longer retention of the result.
- Avoid emotional arousal. After a few weeks everything will be fine again.

After my friend had eyelid surgery, I started doing that too. Everything went smoothly. The operation was easy. The assistant even walked to the car. I took an ice pack into the car. That was very good. Instantly cool for hours. Tip: lie with bags of frozen peas for 24 hours and no bruises the next day.
