Profhilo is an innovative filler treatment for anyone who wants to prevent skin sagging, without adding volume to your face. The active ingredient hyaluronic acid is injected in its purest form by means of small injections. The skin is put to work with this and recovers. This makes the result very natural. Profhilo spreads water-binding hyaluronic acid under the skin’s surface as an ‘injectable moisturizer’ or ‘injectable glow’. Our body also naturally produces hyaluronic acid, but we gradually lose it over the years. Collagen and elastin also break down more and more over time and are produced by our body to a lesser extent. While these protein fibers give the skin its structure and elasticity.

Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid treatment. By injecting these into the skin, Profhilo stimulates the hydration of the skin, but also the production of colleges and elastin. The result is resilient, firmed skin with a healthy glow.
Unlike other injectable treatments, Profhilo does not have the ‘filling’, ‘volume-giving’ effect as we see with filler for the lips or the jawline, for example. Instead of directly adding volume, Profhilo is absorbed through the skin. This actually gives the rejuvenating effect. This treatment does not cause your face to change in shape, nor will it fill in deep wrinkles. Profhilo ensures that the skin looks smoother, more radiant and more youthful.

It creates a ‘glow from within’, and gives the skin a natural glow that we normally only see with frequent use of care products or regular skin treatments.

Results of a Profhilo treatment are natural and subtle. Your skin will look fresher, rested and healthy. If you want a drastic change in your face, a different treatment may be more appropriate.

Profhilo is applied only in the middle and lower part of the face. The forehead is therefore not treated. To address this area, Profhilo can be combined with another injectable treatment such as a wrinkle relaxer .
Like other injectable treatments, Profhilo is a relatively easy and fast treatment that takes only 15 minutes on average.
Profhilo is always stuck in a standard pattern of five injections on each side of the face: in front of the ears, in the nasal fold, in the chin, under the eyes and on the top of the cheeks. After each injection you can experience a stinging sensation for up to 90 seconds, because the substance settles in the skin.
After the treatment you can simply resume daily activities. You can see some small mosquito bites, although they disappear within 12 to 24 hours.
