General

1) SkinSurgery Clinics works by appointment. We schedule time, staff and facilities exclusively for you; therefore, we apply the cancellation and no-show rules below.
Working days are all by appointment
Cancellations/changes can be.
Where “you” appears in this policy, it means the client.

2) Consultations & non-surgical treatments (injectables / skin treatments)
Cancellation/changes

Consultation: if your consultation is cancelled/changed 48 hours or less in advance, we will charge €75.
Treatment: if an injectables or skin treatment is cancelled/changed 2 working days or less in advance, we will charge 50% of the treatment fee (minimum €75).
No-show (failure to appear): 50% of the treatment fee (minimum €75).
Down payments

A deposit may be required for scheduled treatments/surgeries.
In case of cancellation, a €175 cancellation and administration fee will be retained. Any remaining deposit will be offset against the cancellation or no-show fee due.

3) Operations (surgery)
Default rule

If you cancel within 14 days before the surgery date, 100% of the surgery fee is due.
At all times, we will charge a € 175 cancellation and administration fee (this amount is included in the amount due and will not be charged separately on top).
Urgent reason (goodwill)

In case of demonstrable urgent reason (to be substantiated on request with evidence towards doctor and/or anaesthesiologist), SkinSurgery Clinics may apply leniency: we will refund 50% of the amount already paid.
Urgent reason includes:

A medical circumstance that prevents you from reasonably undergoing the procedure (medically provable).
Death of partner or relative up to second degree.

4) Coming late
If you are late, call us immediately. We will see what is still feasible within the schedule.
We cannot guarantee that your appointment can go ahead; charges in accordance with the above cancellation/no-show rules may apply.

5) Camera surveillance (CCTV) & privacy
Camera surveillance is present in our public and semi-public areas (such as entrance, reception, waiting rooms, corridors). Video recordings are made for the purpose of security, incident prevention and handling.
There is no recording in treatment rooms and toilets.
Images are generally kept for a maximum of 4 weeks, unless an incident necessitates a longer retention period.
SkinSurgery Clinics is a data controller and processes camera images based on legitimate interest. You have inspection and deletion rights, within the framework of privacy legislation. For requests or questions, please contact us via our general e-mail address.

6) Image and sound recordings by clients
Unsolicited filming or sound recordings are not allowed in our clinic.
If you do wish to record, please request permission in writing in advance via e-mail and await our confirmation. We may refuse permission or impose conditions (including privacy of other clients/employees).
Medical (before/after) photographs we take ourselves for your records are covered by the WGBO and are only used for healthcare purposes. Marketing/publication of your images is done only with your explicit, separate consent.

7) Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, invoices should be paid before the start of treatment/operation.
In case of failure to pay (in full), appointments cannot be performed and cancellation/no-show fees may apply.

8) Children in the clinic
Children are not allowed in the clinic. No supervision can be provided during your treatment, making the environment unsafe for your child.
As professionals, we feel responsible for providing a safe, calm treatment environment for all clients.

9) Pregnancy & breastfeeding
Because there is insufficient research on the effects of injectables (such as botox and fillers) during pregnancy and breastfeeding, we do not treat you with these agents during this period.
SkinSurgery Clinics takes no chances for you and your baby. We are happy to advise on though suitable alternatives or postponement to a safe time.

10) Medical questionnaire (triage)
Prior to consultation/treatment, you will complete a medical questionnaire truthfully. This is necessary for safety and treatment selection.
Incomplete or incorrect information may result in postponement/cancellation of your treatment and/or additional charges in accordance with this policy.

11) Animals
Animals are not allowed due to hygiene and safety reasons.
Exception: certified assistance dogs are welcome after prior notification and within hygiene regulations (not in sterile/OK rooms or where not allowed for medical reasons).

12) Age limit (18+)
We do not treat clients < 18 years old for injectables and surgical procedures.
Facials (skin improvement without medical risks) for <18 can only be done with written consent and presence of parent/guardian.
If in doubt about age, we may ask for identification in advance.

13) Not allowed in the clinic
Smoking, vaping, taking drugs, consuming alcohol or consuming food.
Aggression, harassment or cross-border behaviour towards staff or other clients: zero tolerance; we may refuse treatment and deny you access.

14) Final provisions
These house rules form one unit with our General Terms and Conditions. In case of conflict, the General Terms and Conditions prevail.
