We are all getting older, so sooner or later almost all of us will get wrinkles. How can we delay this as long as possible and prevent wrinkles? And once we have wrinkles, can we do anything about them? The answer is: yes! There are plenty of anti-wrinkle options, ways to reduce wrinkles and delay the appearance of wrinkles for as long as possible. This way, you will maintain youthful skin for as long as possible.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

Development of wrinkles<\/h2>\n

There are several causes for the appearance of wrinkles. On the one hand, it has to do with internal processes in our body, such as the decrease in collagen and elastin as we age. On the other hand, wrinkles are influenced by external factors, such as UV radiation and harmful free radicals we are exposed to every day.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

What can you do on a daily basis
\nResearch was conducted among 2,700 Dutch over-50s, which showed that women who have a healthy diet, with plenty of vegetables and fruit, have fewer facial wrinkles than women who eat unhealthily. However, during the same study, alcohol was shown to negate the effect of healthy eating when it comes to the appearance of wrinkles. So it is important not to drink!<\/p>\n

Furthermore, getting enough sleep, drinking water and cleaning your face well every day (never go to bed with make-up!) are all known to contribute to healthy skin. By taking good care of yourself every day, you maintain your young skin and can help reduce your wrinkles.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

Anti-wrinkle treatments<\/h2>\n
